About
An interior designer on the sourcing side
Around 18 years in interior design, FF&E and project delivery — former design director and studio principal in China.
My work has covered space planning and design, material and furniture selection, custom joinery, lighting and styling, and coordinating construction on site — across day spas, restaurants, developer show homes and sales galleries, offices, a private club and private residences.
I'm based in Shenzhen, close to the Foshan building materials and furniture supply base. I now use that design experience to help Australian project teams source furniture and finishes from Guangdong: specifying with the design intent in mind, matching each item to a suitable factory, and checking the goods before they ship.
What I bring from project delivery
- End-to-end control, from concept through to on-site delivery.
- A strong command of construction and craft details.
- Coordinating design, contractors and material suppliers so that everyone works to the same intent.

How I work
- You pay the factory directly; factory quotes are shown as issued.
- Transparent fee, quoted per project and agreed in writing.
- Independent — I don't own a factory or resell goods.
- Samples before bulk; pre-shipment inspection before goods leave the factory.
Being upfront
Export sourcing is a newer part of my work. That's why the model keeps your money with the factory and the first step small — one item, a sample round, or a stand-alone inspection — so you can see how I work before committing to more.
